Our Story
Our story began in 2016 when Ed and Dorcas Mason retired and moved to Yuba City to be part of the ministry team at The Church of Glad Tidings. They worked with a program to help men in recovery from substance abuse. One aspect of their program involved them learning to breed and care for Old English Sheepdogs. Many guys participated in the caring for the mamma dogs as well as the birthing and raising of the beautiful Sheepadoodle puppies. Cheryl Bryan, the owner of California Magnificent Mini Sheepadoodles was a key player in providing knowledge necessary to raise quality, healthy and loveable Sheepadoodle Puppies.
Ed and Dorcas eventually took over the complete process of breeding these wonderful puppies and changed the name to Sugar N Spice Doodles. They have been breeding and raising Sheepadoodles for nearly six years. They built a new home for their dogs on a small one acre farm that they share with their oldest daughter’s family. Each dog is lovingly cared for in a clean, modern, environment and the end result is a beautiful and energetic bundle of loyalty and love. Each puppy receives fourteen days (day 3 through day 16) of Early Neurological Stimulation which benefits them for the rest of their lives. Our momma and daddy dogs are DNA tested to determine that they have the proper genetics for breeding. Each puppy is guaranteed for any genetic disorders for two years.
We have delivered furry family members throughout the state of California and the West Coast as well as a few areas farther away including the East Coast. A puppy from Sugar N Spice Doodles will be the start of a relationship of love and friendship with a lifetime companion.
